Raised as a cradle Episcopalian, Bill left the church as a teenager with the vague sense that there was “a God” and that he “liked me.”
After years of rebellion and procrastination, he came full circle and was sovereignly baptized into a powerful relationship with the Holy Spirit who, much to Bill’s surprise, led him back the very church he was running away from. He jumped in with both feet, teaching the Bible and sharing his own testimony of the Holy Spirit’s power to refresh, renew and restore others.
Today, some 40 years later, he continues to serve Jesus in the empowerment and evangelization of others — most notably in the areas of ministering the Father’s love as poured out through the Holy Spirit, and as a songwriter and contemporary worship leader.
Bill’s presence and ministry is marked by humility and humor, redemptive joy, and provocative story telling.
Reverend Bill Blomquist received his M.A. at Fuller Theological Seminary and Diploma of Anglican Studies at Trinity Episcopal School for the Ministry.
